When the Cesare Lombroso Museum was inaugurated in November 2009, a \uabNo Lombroso\ubb cartel of Neo-Bourbon associations and other political parties in the south of Italy initiated a protest against the \uabHorror Museum\ubb in Turin. They asked for Giuseppe Villella's skull - the basis of the Museum's collection, used by Lombroso as scientific evidence of an \uabatavistic criminal\ubb - to be repatriated for burial in his native town of Motta Santa Lucia (CZ, Calabria).
